CNC Machinist

Our client is an established engineering company and due to their continued success Staffbase has been appointed to recruit for the position of CNC Machinist to programme, set & operate 3 & 5 axis milling machinery at our client's busy factory near Heanor.

£38K - £48K Negotiable (depending on shift & experience) + OT + Benefits

Reporting to the Team Leader the CNC Machinist will be responsible for the programming, setting and operating CNC machines (Mazak, Toyoda, DMG amongst others). Machining a wide range of large one‑off fabricated parts / components from various metals including stainless steels, titanium, aluminium, nickel alloys and carbon steels.

You will be an experienced CNC Machinist with at least 3 years experience in programming, setting or operating CNC machinery. You will be familiar with one or more of the following controls systems:
Mazatrol, Siemens, Heidenhain or Fanuc. We will consider candidates with experience in programming setting, milling machines and/or lathes.

Monday to Friday days 39 hours + OT (Lunch time finish Friday). Various shifts available including days, nights and rotating shifts.

Excellent basic salary £38K - £50K + Overtime, 33 days annual leave, Sick pay, Pension.
