Barker Ross are currently recruiting for 2 x Experienced Painters to work at a manufacturing facility in Heanor (DE75).

Barker Ross are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering company specialising in the fabrication and processing of steelwork. They are looking for two reliable and experienced painters to join their team on a short-term project lasting approximately 3 weeks, with immediate starts available.

This role will involve working within a busy factory environment preparing and painting fabricated steel components to a high standard.

Duration: 3 weeks initially

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
Pay Rate: £18.50 - £20.00 per hour Duties will include:

Preparing steelwork for painting, including cleaning and surface preparation
Applying industrial paint coatings to fabricated steel components
Ensuring a high-quality finish is maintained
Following site health and safety procedures at all times
Keeping work areas clean and organised

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience painting steelwork or within an industrial/manufacturing environment
Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A strong work ethic and reliability
