Are you a hands-on, detail-oriented individual looking for a stable and rewarding role in a leading global company? dsm-firmenich is looking for a dedicated Production Plant Cleaner to join our Premix team at our Heanor site on dayshift. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the highest hygiene and safety standards across our production facility, ensuring our equipment and work areas are always clean, safe, and ready for use.

** Your key responsibilities
*** Carry out routine and deep cleaning of production plant, machinery, floors, walls, and associated equipment in line with site hygiene and safety procedures
* Ensure all equipment is thoroughly cleaned and ready for use in accordance with the production schedule, minimising downtime and supporting efficient operations
* Handle cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly in full compliance with COSHH guidelines, maintaining accurate cleaning records and documentation at all times
* Identify and promptly report any equipment damage, leaks, or abnormalities to the supervisor or maintenance team to ensure a safe working environment
* Support waste disposal, housekeeping activities, and preparation of areas for maintenance, including basic isolation tasks once fully trained
* Collaborate closely with production and maintenance teams to continuously identify opportunities to improve cleaning standards, processes, and overall site hygiene

*** Minimum of 2 years of work experience, ideally within a production, manufacturing, or industrial environment
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times
* Good communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with production and maintenance teams
* Flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to respond to changing priorities and production demands
* Knowledge of COSHH guidelines and safe handling of cleaning chemicals, or a willingness to learn and follow site safety procedures
* Reliable, self-motivated and proactive individual who takes pride in their work and can complete documentation and records accurately and on time
