Location: Derby
Pay: £15 – £16 per hour + holiday pay £1.81–£1.93 per hour.
Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–4:15pm
Contract: Temp-to-Perm

The Role

I am looking for an experienced Press Brake Operative to join the fabrication team.

This is a hands-on role working with an Amada HFE 130T 3m 8-axis Press Brake, producing high-quality sheet metal components to engineering drawings and tight tolerances.

Experience with laser cutting machinery would also be advantageous, as the workshop operates a Boxford BFLW Fibre Metal Laser Cutter.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and programme the Amada HFE 130T Press Brake.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Select and change the appropriate tooling.
• Produce folded sheet metal components to tight tolerances.
• Carry out quality checks and inspections on finished components.
• Adjust machine settings and programmes where required.
• Operate the fibre laser cutter where required and experience allows.
• Carry out basic machine maintenance and report any faults.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
