• Ensure QC testing and checks are carried out as directed by the Quality Co-ordinator
• Managing the full testing schedule for site (plastics, polyethylene) tests include, but not limited to, Gel Analysis, Melt flow, Polymer identification, Tear, Gauge, Puncture and Opacity.
• Develop an understanding of recycling processm waste streams and RCA
• Manage stakeholders and expectations for various departments
• Documentation of non-conformances and process changes
• Operate Lab equipment to a high degree, ensuring compliance and accuracy of results
• Pellet, scrap surveillance and trend analysis
• Preparing certificates of analysis for products and managing customer complaint samples
• General housekeeping
• Support lab activities as required
• Additional ad hoc tasks where required

• Experience with ISO standards, plastics or recycling related industry
• Good GCSE Grades in English, Maths and Science
• Good understanding of quality expectations, be able to problem solve and make decisions with confidence
• IT and Microsoft literacy
• Ability to manage own workload, enthusiastic, hardworking and able to use their own initiative.
