Direct/Indirect Reports: Assistant Site Manager, Manager-in-Training, Shift Lead, Customer Service Advisor, Crew Member
Effective Date: 6/1/2025
Position Overview: The Site Manager (SM) oversees daily operations and long-term success of a Spotless Brands location, ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and financial results. Responsible for team leadership, site safety, and policy adherence. Reports to the District Manager and may lead Assistant Managers and frontline staff.
Essential Functions Operational Leadership- Lead daily operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality car wash experiences.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety protocols, audits, and service standards.
- Maintain a professional, clean, and customer-ready site.
- Coordinate with facilities/support teams for equipment issues and basic troubleshooting.
- Monitor equipment performance and escalate concerns.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Execute hiring practices per company policies and laws.
- Maintain data integrity for payroll and reporting.
- Manage scheduling, payroll, and timekeeping accurately.
- Set performance expectations and provide feedback.
- Create a positive, inclusive team culture.
- Lead daily operations with consistency and promote collaboration.
- Partner with HR, Loss Prevention, and leadership on employee matters.
- Model and reinforce exceptional customer service.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly.
- Engage with the community to build loyalty and awareness.
- Achieve site goals for revenue, profit, and retention.
- Manage inventory and ensure timely reordering within budget.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance.
- Handle cash and loss prevention policies.
- Foster a safety culture and conduct safety audits.
- Ensure compliance with all laws and policies.
- Serve as liaison to the District Manager.
- Provide updates on site performance.
- Partner with support functions.
- Responsibilities are consistent but operational emphasis varies by site type:
Express, Full-Service, Flex.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
- Leadership experience in retail, service, or automotive preferred.
- Minimum 18 years old.
- Must meet certification and regulatory standards.
- Experience managing teams and operations.
- Results-driven in fast-paced environments.
Knowledge: High-volume operations, financial/inventory management, supervision, safety standards.
Skills: Leadership, problem-solving, communication, mechanical aptitude, computer skills.
Abilities: Work outdoors, flexible hours, quick learner, effective communicator.
Physical Requirements- Ability to walk, stand, lift 50 lbs, work outdoors in all weather, and operate equipment.
