Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance, repair, and install industrial equipment, water systems, and other industrial systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues with guidance from Plant Management.
- Perform carpentry, painting, custodial, and other general facility maintenance.
- Participate in safety committee to maintain and promote a culture of safe practices.
- Must be able to follow instructions and complete assignments in a timely and safe manner.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
- Work with other employees in a cooperative and professional way.
- Ability to work off shift hours or weekends to accomplish special projects and overhauls.
- Other duties as required.
- Some experience repairing industrial processing equipment in and industrial or cleanroom environment. Applicable military experience strongly considered.
- Proficient in the proper use of power tools, forklifts, manlifts, and hand tools.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, electrical wiring, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other diagrams.
- High school Diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior experience in the assignment of tasks and goals is preferred.
- Experience in boiler operation, wastewater processing, HVAC system operation, and general facility repair.
- Prior experience operating and/or maintaining industrial washers, dryers, steam tunnels, automated folders, conveyors, boilers, overhead hoists, and reverse osmosis water treatment equipment a plus.
