IT Manager

Salary: £40,000 - 50,000 per year

• Strong hands‑on experience in a technical IT role within a professional environment
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra , Intune, Defender, and Windows Server technologies
• Solid understanding of networking, security fundamentals, and modern device management
• Experience managing projects and coordinating external suppliers
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical outcomes
• Experience implementing cyber security frameworks (e.g., Cyber Essentials) (desirable)
• Familiarity with ITIL practices (desirable)
• Exposure to compliance or governance requirements (desirable)
• Relevant Microsoft or security certifications (desirable)

• Oversee and maintain the organisation’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services
• Lead the administration and optimisation of Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra , Intune, Defender security tools, and related platforms
• Manage IT operations, including incident resolution, escalations, and service delivery
• Ensure strong cyber security practices, including patching, identity management, and compliance with security standards
• Lead small to medium technical projects from planning to delivery
• Maintain IT policies, documentation, asset registers, and configuration standards
• Work closely with internal teams and external partners to maintain a reliable, secure, and scalable environment
• Contribute to IT strategy and continual improvement initiatives
