Job DescriptionAs a Mammography Technologist at Intermountain Health, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our clinical team and ensuring patients receive exceptional care. You’ll work in a collaborative environment that values career growth, innovation, and teamwork.

Heber City, UT - Scheduled Weekly
Hours:
PRN (as needed) - Shift: Hours and shifts will vary based on department needs
- Additional Pay: 5% Geographical Differential
- Ensure proper patient identification, verify orders, and prepare patients for exams.
- Perform radiologic mammography exams per department protocol, including advanced procedures such as stereotactic biopsies, clip placements, and drainages.
- Demonstrate competency in positioning and patient care.
- Provide education on breast self‑examinations, answering questions and sharing materials.
- Operate mammography equipment to produce high‑quality diagnostic images.
- Apply appropriate radiation safety measures and meet all ALARA program requirements.
- Stay current on new procedures and equipment to maintain high skill levels.
- Maintain records required by JCAHO and the Utah State Bureau of Radiation Control.
- Complete all required documentation accurately, including time stamps and image storage.
- ARRT registration
- Current Radiologic Technologist license in the state of practice
- Must meet and maintain ACR & FDA/MQSA mammography requirements
- Must hold and maintain ARRT Advanced Mammography Certification
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Experience in Imaging or Mammography
- ARRT Mammography Certification or enrollment in formal mammography training
