- Compensation: $19.25/ hour starting salary, negotiable based on experience and qualifications. This is a 40-hour-per-week hourly position.
Community Action Services and Food Bank (CASFB) is dedicated to fostering self‑reliance for individuals, families, and the community. The Circles Chapter supports families in stabilizing their circumstances so self‑reliance skills can take root, enabling long‑term economic mobility.
The Circles Chapter Coach in Heber is an essential member of the Circles team and reports to the Circles Utah Valley Coordinator. Office work is completed at various sites in Heber, with weekly travel required to CASFB’s main office at 815 S Freedom Blvd, Provo.
ResponsibilitiesThe Circles Coach serves as a resource builder, connector, and recruiter for the Circles Initiative (www.
Circles
USA.org). Circles Utah Valley is a critical component of CASFB’s mission to end poverty. The program brings together community members across economic lines by pairing individuals with low income (Circle Leaders) with middle‑ and upper‑income volunteers (Allies). The Coach ensures these relationships thrive and that Circle Leaders have the support needed to progress.
- Recruit, screen, and train prospective Circle Leaders and Allies
- Provide orientation and ongoing support to participants and volunteers
- Conduct intake interviews and strengths‑based assessments for all Circles members
- Ensure weekly Circles meetings are organized, welcoming, and well‑planned
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of community social services
- Collaborate with CASFB case managers and the Financial Learning Center to support Circle Leader progress
- Provide conflict resolution within matched Circles as needed
- Attend and provide leadership in Jobs & Education and Services Resource Team meetings
- Communicate regularly with Community, Big View, Jobs & Education, Services, and Recruitment Teams
- Maintain accurate records, data collection, and required reports in a timely manner
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Circles Utah Valley Coordinator or CASFB leadership to ensure the success of Circles

Qualifications- Minimum two years of experience in a human services field
- Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field preferred but not required
- Enthusiastic, caring, and energetic personality
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to manage projects from start to finish
- Ability to work effectively in a team and develop community partnerships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with learning new software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bilingual (Spanish‑speaking) preferred but not required
