Overview

The Clubhouse at Sky Ridge is the vibrant social and culinary hub of Sky Ridge Resort & Golf in Park City, Utah — a premier mountain‑living community with world‑class amenities. Set against stunning mountain and lake views, the clubhouse welcomes golfers and non‑golfers alike to enjoy elevated dining, drinks, and social connection. Featuring a bar and restaurant, retail offerings, casual food and beverage options, and both indoor and outdoor entertainment spaces, the clubhouse is designed to deliver memorable experiences in a relaxed yet refined atmosphere.

We currently have an opportunity for a well‑rounded and seasoned Restaurant General Manager to join our Clubhouse opening team. As part of a diverse food and beverage program, this leader will oversee our upscale Casual Dining and Bar concept, setting the tone for service, culture, and operational excellence.

Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, SVP of Operations, the Restaurant General Manager will lead the full restaurant and bar operations with passion and creativity while ensuring exceptional five‑star service. This individual will serve as the project lead for the restaurant opening, driving recruitment, menu and beverage development, service standards, and training programs. This role will also support other food and beverage outlets as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the development and execution of departmental strategies aligned with brand service standards.
  • Ensure the food and beverage operation meets guest expectations, supports employee satisfaction, and drives revenue.
  • Develop and implement strategies that exceed guest needs while maximizing financial performance.
  • Lead talent selection, onboarding, training, and ongoing development.
  • Collaborate with Food and Beverage leadership on menu and beverage list development.
  • Control costs through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, inventory control, and cost‑management practices.
  • Maintain high visibility in the operation, fostering strong guest relationships and public relations.
  • Lead with a commitment to consistent service excellence and attention to detail.
  • Create a positive, inclusive culture that promotes professional growth and continuous learning.
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen, integrity, transparency, and strategic thinking.
  • Ensure operational readiness for both indoor and outdoor service environments.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager or equivalent leadership role.
  • Previous pre‑opening restaurant experience required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and lead teams through growth.
  • Advanced knowledge of food and beverage operations, including wine and spirits.
  • Valid Food Handler’s Card.
  • Valid TIPS certification.
  • Knowledge of Forbes service standards.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

This role is based on-property in Park City, UT.
