Responsibilities

• As part of the mechanical engineering design team, perform design tasks from armor panel layouts on military ground vehicles to detailed design of parts that support customer needs and design requirements.
• Create level 2 and 3 drawings IAW ANSI Y14.5 standards, DOD-STD-100 and others as necessary.
• Proficient at creating mechanical layouts and completing design studies/trades as required.
• Familiarity with weldments, ballistic plates, and other mechanical part drawings is necessary. Familiarity with composite layouts and processes is preferable.
• Familiarity with electronic and optoelectronics packaging is a plus.
• Working knowledge of materials, processes, and coatings for military vehicles.
• Ability to work with a small team under the direction of Integris engineers.
• Works within an organized framework to allow efficient information sharing.
• Participates in design and verification reviews as required. Support CCB on projects

• Minimum of 5+ years of Solidworks, 3D modeling and 2D drawing package experience.
• Use of the Solid Works PDM system for configuration management is a must.
• Ability to convert CREO models to Solid Works for projects as necessary.
• Working knowledge of large model management techniques is desired, not required.
• Knowledge of Pro Cabling, Sheet metal, and Piping is desired, not required.
