The Hospital of Central Connecticut is actively hiring Mammography Technologists to join their dynamic team in New Britain, Connecticut to support a state-of-the-art suite with Tomosynthesis GE Pristina Mammography units. Summary:

The Mammography Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic mammographic procedures, according to established protocols to assist the referring physician in diagnosis and treatment. The Mammography Technologist operates digital tomosynthesis mammography equipment and performs procedures. This will include x-ray and mammography with the opportunity to train in DEXA, stereotactic/needle localization procedures and Contrast Enhanced Mammography.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited Radiography program
  • Connecticut state Radiographer license required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Accepting New Grads
