For over seven decades investor-owned utilities, municipalities, cooperatives, and others have entrusted their electrical construction and maintenance needs to Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. (Elliot).

Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating and industrial/commercial services.

Now expanding into Northern Kentucky, we’re seeking a skilled Service Manager to join our family-oriented team and deliver top-tier services.

Job Description

As a Service Manager at Davis H. Elliot, you will be required to oversee service and construction work in residential, commercial, and healthcare environments. Responsibilities for this position will include:

  • Ensuring safe performance of the work.
  • Effectively communicating with technicians, customers, engineers, and other employees.
  • Developing new business and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Assisting estimators on bids for new projects.
  • Purchasing materials and contracting with subcontractors.
  • Scheduling equipment, resources, and manpower for projects.
  • Financial management of projects, including billing, change management, and cost projections.
  • Developing team members at all levels of the organization.
Qualifications

Qualifications for this role include:

  • Passionate about the safety of fellow employees
  • Engineering or construction management degree or equivalent experience in the construction industry
  • 5+ Years of experience recommended
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PDF software
  • Valid driver's license
  • Proficiency with NEC, NFPA 70E, and local codes
  • Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screening
