Operations Manager, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Who we are looking for:
We are currently looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to be based out of our Hebron, OH facility. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this person will be responsible for supervising the functions of the Maintenance department and to aid and improve the operational performance of the facility.
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of supervisory experience and a bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is strongly preferred.
What you’ll do:- Responsible for the creation and implementation of best practice maintenance vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
- Manage relevant systems and equipment data storage while maintaining high levels of standards and accuracy.
- Manage the end-to-end process of disposal of obsolete machinery and/or equipment from gaining agreement through removal, ensuring safe and lawful disposal.
- Proven ability to independently as well as work with a team to perform root cause analysis to resolve problems.
- Lead various projects, to include “Just Do-Its” and "Capital Expenditures".
- Provide technical expertise in all areas relating to the functions of the maintenance department.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in steel manufacturing strongly preferred.
- High energy, strong work ethic, schedule flexibility, and ability to work additional hours based on business needs.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, including conflict resolution.
- Continuous improvement background (lean, WCM, GMP, etc.) and the passion to grow your lean experience.

- Gain an understanding of your team, maintenance and operations, and areas you support.
- Be familiar with operations processes and equipment.
- Understand the responsibilities of the maintenance department and how we interact with the operations in manufacturing.
- Be responsible for your maintenance team, assisting with troubleshooting and helping prioritize work.
- Lead your own initiatives and projects to increase equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Lead the preventative maintenance program on your shift.
- Lead your team in safety, quality, delivery, and cost initiatives.
As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $ 71,760 - $98,670 . Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time.
Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
