Overview:
The Project Manager is responsible for managing high-visibility OEM and Aftermarket machinery projects. This customer-facing role drives project success through effective leadership, resource utilization, risk management, and technical oversight. The project manager owns the project but operates in a matrix organization with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations, to achieve project requirements and ensure profitability.

• Participates in proposal and deliverables review and pre-planning activities.
• Acts as liaison to the customer from project kick-off through final acceptance.
• Maintains ownership and a hands-on approach to all aspects of assigned projects.
• Leads project planning and execution efforts across the organization.
• Ensures scope, schedule, and budget performance, tracking and managing all changes.
• Communicates with all stakeholders regarding project status and performance.
• Manages project budget and cashflow, ensuring timely invoicing and monitoring of receivables.
• Minimizes company exposure and risk through appropriate review and mitigation efforts.
• Resolves or escalates problems timely and effectively.
• Communicates difficult information with diplomacy and tact.
• Motivates others and conveys urgency appropriately.
• Ensures all project documentation is complete and filed appropriately.
• Proactively maintains a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
• Ability to travel - up to 10%.
• Other duties as assigned.

Previous project management experience is required, manufacturing experience is preferred.

A degree in a technical field + 2 years of project management experience OR 7+ years of progressive project management experience. PMP Certification is a requirement.
