Regulatory Specialist

On Line Design is looking for a full-time Regulatory Assurance Specialist to work in Hebron, KY. In this role, you will support the oversight of food and beverage regulations, ensuring compliance at the state, federal, and international level. You will need an applicable Bachelors Degree and/or 5+ years of working on a regulatory team. You must live locally, with the ability to commute to the office daily.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain an understanding of new and existing regulations that may impact the organization’s products and processes.
• Prepare day-to-day customer responses supporting product information through written statements, questionnaires, and affidavits.
• Review product formula compliance with state, federal, and international regulations.
• Assemble, maintain, and submit technical files for product approval and certifications.
• Project participation supporting the development of strategic technologies relating to regulatory functions and responsibilities.
• Develop and maintain regulatory standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Request, document, and maintain ingredient raw material supplier information.
• Attend all required regulatory training.
• Assist in departmental and company regulatory trainings.
• Follow site food safety and food defense procedures.
• Support site Food Safety and Quality Policy, including the site Food Safety Culture.
• Attend all required Food Safety and Personal Safety Training.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental, or Food Science
• 5+ years or working in a regulated industry such as flavors, food and beverage manufacturing, pharma, or CPG
• Attention to detail and the ability to critically think
• Strong organizational skills are a must
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to recognize evolving business needs, anticipate issues & develop plans to address
