Overview

Entry-level position for a person with good basic mechanical skills. Must be capable of learning and developing the necessary skills to perform the job adequately.

Responsibilities

Performs PM Inspections.

Performs Post Trip Inspections.

General repairs such as clutch and brake adjustments, lights and electrical repairs and tire placement with supervision.

May be required to work temporarily at field locations maintaining/repairing equipment, under mentorship.

Performs other duties as directed.

Qualifications

High school education acceptable.

Specific exposure to an equipment or maintenance environment.

Knowledge of basic hand tools for general equipment repair.

Equipment systems experience a plus.

Must have effective oral and written communications effective listening skills, and ability to interact with others.

0-3 years of diesel shop experience acceptable.
