Public Transport Ambassador

Do you have an affinity for public transport and enjoy helping others? Experience Public Transport is looking for residents of Overijssel, Flevoland, or Gelderland to volunteer as public transport ambassadors.

Public transport ambassadors provide information about public transport to anyone who finds it difficult to travel by public transport. During consultations, information sessions, courses, and trial trips, ambassadors answer questions about topics such as OVpay, planning a trip, discounted travel, ticket machines at the station, and checking in and out with various public transport companies. Ambassadors are ready to provide explanations, advice, and personalized guidance.

Together, we make public transport accessible to everyone.

• Training and support: Ambassadors receive training, support, and guidance from experienced public transport ambassadors and project staff.
• Network of colleagues: We organize refresher days where all ambassadors can share knowledge and experiences, and we keep you informed of the latest developments. Approximately 50 ambassadors work in small regional teams with various activities. We also organize an annual outing.
• Flexibility: You can decide how much time you want to dedicate to your ambassadorship. As a guideline, a minimum commitment of three half-days per month is recommended.
• Travel expenses reimbursement: The position is voluntary, so travel and other expenses are reimbursed.
