About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a coordinator to join us at Mini Med where the successful applicant will influence processes with technical skills and stakeholder engagement. Coordinate and ensure efficient physical flows of goods and other activities within the department according to established procedures and quality requirements, in order to meet internal and external customer requirements. Ensure correct and timely implementation of training within EOC operations.

Training (new) employees in processes or activities in accordance with the set (quality) requirements.

Job Duties / Responsibilities
  • Flexible deployment in other function‑related departments within the DC and VAS.
  • Follow up and carry out tasks within the set productivity and quality standards (both Cell/Zone and department related), monitoring and reporting deviations from planning/objectives.
  • Promote and encourage compliance with Medtronic Internal Regulations & Code of Conduct, EOC Ops House Rules, EHSS procedures (e.g., waste separation and cleaning up the workplace in the context of 5S), to guarantee optimal working conditions.
  • Act as an example for colleagues on at least all of the above points.
  • Maintain the infrastructure in the physical work environment so that value is added for the customer through flow, pull and clear team interaction.
  • Observe and support identification of right and wrong situations.
  • Test and train operator competency level and ensure continuous learning.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain complete knowledge of the activities and associated procedures and quality requirements in the department.
  • Enable all operators to solve “their” problems in “their” work area, through investigating cause and effect and coming up with solutions.
  • Meet customer requested output on a daily basis.
  • Create stability and visibility through a fixed location for all necessary resources.
  • Temporarily stop work if a deviation from standard work is detected and resolve it immediately.
Required Knowledge and Experience
  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • Knowledge of MS Office.
  • Experience in a production / logistics environment and related jobs.
  • Knowledge of the working according to work instructions.
  • Knowledge of the Medtronic mindset and MPS program.
  • Process insight.
