OPEN POSITION:

Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care

SCHEDULE:

- Full-Time

- Monday to Friday

- 8:00am to 4:30pm

- No Weekends

- No Evenings

- No Holidays

- No On-Call

COMPENSATION:

- $160,000 Annual Base Salary

- Malpractice Insurance

- Health Insurance

- 4 Weeks Paid Time Off

- 11 Paid Holidays

- 401k

- W2 Position

LOCATION:

Helena, Arkansas

COMPANY PROFILE:

This position is with a Veterans’ Administration (VA) community-based outpatient clinic (CBOC) located in Helena, Arkansas. The new provider will join a team of compassionate, experienced clinicians dedicated to serving this vulnerable patient population.

POSITION

DESCRIPTION:

The new nurse practitioner will work independently, while also being part of a larger care team, seeing patients in a comfortable outpatient setting for standard primary care needs.

Providers see an average of 10 to 12 patients per day. All work is in the outpatient clinic and supported by dedicated clinical assistants.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

- obtain and document patient histories

- conduct physical examinations

- evaluate patients

- diagnose and treat diseases

- manage chronic illnesses

- order laboratory, radiological, and other tests as needed

- provide preventative health services, including education and counseling

- make specialist referrals when appropriate

- collaborate with other clinicians and staff to ensure continuity of care

The practice utilizes an EHR.

REQUIREMENTS:

- active Arkansas NP license

- relevant board certification (FNP, AGNP, etc.)

- 2+ years outpatient primary care experience
