What is this career opportunity?
The General Services Division is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented and service-minded individual to join their Print & Mail Document Services team. This position is responsible for the preparation, scanning, and verification of a high volume of documents to be converted from printed material to digital images.
In addition, this role offers the opportunity to learn and support our print production and mail processing operations. What are we looking for?
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent and one-year applicable experience.
- Alternate combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Ability to:
- Be a self-starting individual, and take ownership of results;
- Learn imaging software such as Perceptive, Capture OnTouch, Smartworks Pro Scan, and scanning equipment;
- Balance technical and timing components in order to meet deadlines;
- Provide a professional level of customer service, and go above and beyond to exceed expectations;
- Multi-task and work efficiently to meet tight project deadlines with high attention to detail;
- Be a team player who supports the agency by focusing on the vision, mission, and goals of both the program and work unit;
- Perform with honesty and integrity, treating others with dignity and respect;
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships;
- Recognize the importance of safety in the workplace, follow safety rules, practice safe work habits, utilize appropriate safety equipment and report unsafe conditions;
- Resolve issues using critical thinking skills.
