Dental Patient Care Coordinator

Our specialized pediatric dental office is looking to add a skilled dental receptionist to our team. In this role, you will serve as the chief point of contact for our patients. This means that having an upbeat attitude and professional demeanor are essential. You’ll greet patients, take their phone calls and send out emails to ensure their needs are being met.

You will also help our office operate more effectively. This will include completing tasks like scheduling patient appointments, communicating with insurance providers, taking and applying payments, understanding account ledgers and dental terminology, among others. • Warmly greet patients who enter the office
• Schedule, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments as needed
• Collect payments
• File insurance claims and track their progress
• Perform office duties such as documenting, scanning and copying

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Superior customer service skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and professional appearance
• Basic computer literacy
• Proficiency or ability to learn dental practice management software such as Open Dental
• Working knowledge of dental terminology
• Dental experience preferred
