Helena College is seeking qualified applicants who wish to become part of a dynamic and creative team for a full-time position as an Anatomy & Physiology Instructor. Helena College seeks a full-time, tenure-track Anatomy & Physiology Instructor for the Donaldson Campus, beginning August 2026 for the 2026–2027 academic year.

Faculty at Helena College are professional educators committed to providing exceptional learning experiences in alignment with the College’s mission and policies. The A&P Instructor serves as teacher, mentor, and facilitator, helping students advance their educational pathways or enter specialized healthcare programs.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching both lecture and lab courses in a traditional, face-to-face format.
- Maintaining a regular on-campus presence to build relationships with students, colleagues, and transfer partners.
- Teaching 30–32 credits per academic year, typically four courses per semester (eight courses total).
- Ensuring effective instruction through student evaluation, learning outcome assessment, and departmental and institutional planning.
- Maintaining accessible course materials.
- Utilizing the Canvas LMS for gradebook and instructional purposes.
- Participating in professional development and college service activities.

- Instruction of 30-32 credits per academic year, typically in a face-to-face format, with a possibility for expansion of online/virtual course offerings.
- Course preparation, including accessible course materials and course assignments and grades in the Canvas LMS.
- Curriculum development and design, both at the course and program level.
- Assessment of student learning, course level learning outcomes, and program level learning outcomes.
- Use of a variety of teaching methods to enhance understanding, including lecture, group discussions and activities, case studies, lab activities, etc.
- Collaborate with the full-time and adjunct faculty within the program.
- Participation in necessary institutional functions such as, but not limited to, college committees, student clubs, student internships, student/faculty recruitment, budget development, program promotion, and collaboration with academic and student affairs.
- Professional development/improvement activities, in both teaching and in discipline.
- Demonstrate a commitment to and an understanding of the Helena College mission, vision, and strategic goals.
- Create an environment that acknowledges, encourages, and celebrates all differences and recognizes the value that individual differences bring to the learning environment.
- Ability to use interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain strong working relationships with students, faculty, college, and community stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to use effective teaching strategies to enhance student academic success by using evidence-based teaching and assessment techniques, technology, curriculum evaluation, and outcomes assessment.
- Seek opportunities to gain experience working and collaborating in diverse and inclusive settings with a willingness to change for continual improvement.
- A master’s degree in Biology, Physiology, Human Biology, Kinesiology, Biomedical Sciences, or another related program.…
