Contractor responsible for monitoring security posture, following up vulnerability management, cloud misconfigurations and supporting compliance and security control implementations and auditing based on Wiz. You will work closely with internal product engineering teams to ensure secure cloud configurations across our multi-cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities- Configure and maintain security policies, rules, and controls within Wiz to align with organizational security requirements
- Monitor and triage security findings from Wiz, coordinating with relevant teams for remediation
- Create and maintain documentation related to compliance controls and standards
- Perform regular reviews of Wiz security findings and generate reports for stakeholders
- Partner with cloud engineering teams to implement security best practices and resolve identified issues
- Assist in incident response activities when Wiz identifies potential security issues
- 3+ years of experience in cloud security engineering
- Strong hands‑on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Deep understanding of cloud security concepts, compliance frameworks, and best practices
- Experience with cloud security tools and cloud-native security controls
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication abilities and experience working with cross‑functional teams
- Direct experience with Wiz platform
- Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, etc.)
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Cloud Formation)
- Experience with healthcare compliance standards like HIPAA and HITRUST
- Knowledge of container security and Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD security integration
Understanding of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS)
Salary and Other CompensationThe annual salary for this position depends on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
