Position Overview- Conduct thorough assessments to identify each child’s unique strengths and areas for growth.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain detailed documentation of client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to community outreach initiatives.
- Assessment & Evaluation:
Utilize standardized tools and clinical observations to assess sensory processing, motor skills, and functional abilities. - Therapeutic Intervention:
Design and implement engaging therapy sessions that promote skill development. - Family
Education:
Provide guidance and resources to families to support their child’s progress at home and in the community. - Collaboration:
Work in tandem with other therapists, educators, and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care. - Documentation:
Ensure accurate and timely recording of evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes.
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current Montana state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to design creative, child-centered treatment plans.
- Efficient time management and organizational skills.
- Experience with sensory integration and play-based therapy is a plus, but not required.
