Position Overview
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify each child’s unique strengths and areas for growth.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to community outreach initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment & Evaluation:
    Utilize standardized tools and clinical observations to assess sensory processing, motor skills, and functional abilities.
  • Therapeutic Intervention:
    Design and implement engaging therapy sessions that promote skill development.
  • Family

    Education:

    Provide guidance and resources to families to support their child’s progress at home and in the community.
  • Collaboration:

    Work in tandem with other therapists, educators, and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Documentation:
    Ensure accurate and timely recording of evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes.
Qualifications
  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current Montana state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to design creative, child-centered treatment plans.
  • Efficient time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience with sensory integration and play-based therapy is a plus, but not required.
