The DOA State Procurement Services Division (SPSD) provides professional procurement services to all State agencies for the acquisition of supplies and services, ensures compliance with all State Statutes and procurement requirements, establishes statewide term contracts for commonly used goods and services, manages the State’s fuel and procurement card programs, and offers procurement training to State agencies. They also provide a central location for vendors interested in bidding on State projects and maintain the State’s registration and notification list for bidders.

This is an exciting time to join the SPSD, as the State is in the process of an enterprise-wide effort to centralize the procurement function which will bring efficiencies and an enhanced service model while providing opportunities for procurement professionals to develop their skills and expertise as part of a larger team.

This role is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of systems that support vendor management, competitive bidding and procurement workflows, contract lifecycle management, and tracking of contract spend.

The Systems Administrator will work closely with procurement professionals and other stakeholders to ensure reliable system performance, data integrity, and continuous improvement of our procurement technology environment.

This position is one of two dedicated IT roles within the Procurement team and will serve as the primary technical resource for system administration. The other IT role provides help desk and user support, allowing this position to focus on system configuration, integrations, security, and long‑term system stewardship.

If you enjoy partnering with business users, taking ownership of critical enterprise systems, and improving how technology supports efficient and transparent procurement, this role may be a great fit for you.
