Quality Engineer

The right Quality Engineer sees a flaky test not as noise but as a clue, and Tech Innovate in Helena, MT has clues worth chasing. This junior role pairs a $50,000 - $75,000 salary with hands-on ownership, a collaborative team, and clear opportunities to level up.

• Translate technology compliance rules into Cypress guardrails baked into the build
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs powering core Tech Innovate products
• Read the GraphQL stack traces others skim past, and trace bugs to their root
• Keep Tech Innovate's Jenkins CI under ten minutes so Helena, MT engineers stay in flow
• Walk technology stakeholders through Customer Service tradeoffs in language Tech Innovate execs grasp
• Build internal tooling that improves developer productivity and velocity
• Reach into legacy Customer Service modules and leave them cleaner than you found them

• Confident communicator across email, calls, and in-person meetings
• A MT work history, or strong reasons you'll thrive here anyway
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Comfort owning the unglamorous middle of an internship project

Plenty of firms claim to do technology;
Tech Innovate actually does it, and from Helena no less, with an experiment-friendly stubbornness about quality. We hire metrics-driven people, get out of their way, and let the Cypress results speak.

• $50,000 - $75,000
• equity participation
• mentorship from accomplished technology leaders
