Corporate Attorney - Helena, Montana

Parsons Behle & Latimer is seeking an attorney with 8+ years of experience to join the firm’s Corporate & Tax department working from the Helena, Montana office. Parsons is a regional law firm headquartered in Salt Lake City that has national expertise in numerous practice areas. The firm is at the forefront of the legal communities in Utah, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Wyoming, and the Intermountain Region.

• Significant experience in Montana with formation, governance, and structuring corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, joint ventures and other business arrangements
• Familiarity with a wide variety of transaction types (e.g., stock purchase, asset purchase, cross-border, mergers, reorganizations, etc.)
• Experience negotiating equity investments and commercial finance transactions
• A portable, consistent book of business is preferred along with the desire to continue growing the attorney’s practice
• Strong communication skills and the ability to solve problems, execute and transfer knowledge, and coordinate the completion of projects by junior attorneys
• Sound judgment and adherence to high ethical standards
• Collaborative personality with desire to contribute to a small office environment
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in Montana or ability to be admitted by motion
