Security Worker – Shodair Children’s Hospital

Shodair Children’s Hospital is seeking a dependable Security Worker to help maintain a safe, secure, and well-functioning campus. This role supports both the security and maintenance of hospital grounds and facilities while contributing to a safe, trauma‑informed environment of care.

• Provide on‑site campus security and assist visitors.
• Serve as first contact for emergency responders.
• Support staff and patient safety during shift changes and high‑acuity events.
• Operate snow removal and hospital equipment as needed.
• Complete preventive maintenance, testing, and documentation of equipment.
• Assist with new hire badging, video monitoring, and other department tasks.
• Communicate and document security activities for leadership and staff.

• Approachable and professional; friendly and respectful with patients, families, and staff.
• Hands‑on and detail‑oriented; comfortable with both physical tasks and accurate documentation.

• Must be 18 years or older with a valid Montana driver’s license.
• Ability to become CPR and CPI certified (training provided).
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Security experience is preferred.
