Fleet Mechanic

This is an on-site, full-time Fleet Mechanic role based in Helena, MT. The Fleet Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide range of vehicles and heavy equipment. Daily tasks include performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing issues, troubleshooting, completing repairs efficiently, and ensuring the safety and functionality of all fleet equipment. A commitment to safety protocols and excellence in service is essential to this role.

• Proficiency in Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and Maintenance & Repair tasks for a variety of vehicles and equipment
• Expertise in Heavy Equipment operation, maintenance, and repair
• Strong Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve vehicle or equipment issues effectively
• Familiarity with safety guidelines and practices in working with fleet services
• Relevant technical certifications or vocational training in mechanics preferred
• Proven experience in a similar role, particularly in maintaining municipal or commercial fleets, is advantageous.
