We are seeking a dedicated Equipment and Vehicle Mechanic to ensure our operational uptime remains high and our fleet and field machinery stay in top working condition.
Position SummaryThe Equipment and Vehicle Mechanic ensures that all company machinery, trucks, and tools are efficiently maintained, safe, and fully operational. By prioritizing preventative maintenance and rapid repairs, this role maximizes fleet uptime, supports field crew productivity, and protects company equipment assets.
Key Responsibilities- Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and inspection schedules across all vehicles and equipment to identify potential defects early and prevent costly breakdowns.
- Diagnostics & Repair: Repair broken, damaged, or malfunctioning vehicles and equipment in a timely manner to minimize job-site downtime.
- Operation & Testing: Safe operation of small, medium, and heavy machinery for testing, transport, and service validation.
- Compliance & Standards: Uphold all company policies, safety protocols, and professional standards of conduct in and out of the shop.
- General Shop Duties: Maintain a clean, organized work area and fulfill additional mechanical or operational duties as they arise.

Basic Skills:
High School diploma with strong basic math, reading, and written communication skills. - Technical
Experience:
Practical knowledge of applicable mechanical systems on small engines, field equipment, and company vehicles. - Driving Record: Valid Driver’s License with a clean, acceptable driving history.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 125 lbs; perform physically demanding tasks (bending, twisting, kneeling, climbing, brisk walking) for extended periods; and work in extreme temperatures and inclement weather.
- Work Schedule: Availability to work afternoon through evening hours as needed to service equipment outside peak operational times.
