Sr. Principal Software Developer - Cloud Storage

Are you interested in working on Paxos, IO Path availability and performance, replication, data and metadata consistency checking. The data plane team is building a new Storage layer supporting low latency high throughput storage system in 100+ regions.

As part of this effort, the Object Storage Service team is looking for hands-on engineers with expertise and passion in solving difficult problems in distributed systems, large scale storage, and scaling services to meet future growth.

As a technical leader, you will own the software design and development for major components and features of the Object Storage Service. You should be able to design complex systems, strong programmer and a distributed systems generalist, able to dive deep into any part of the stack and low level systems, as well as design broad distributed system interactions. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn.
