We are currently looking for a Training Coordinator to join our growing team, supporting the delivery of one of the UK's most exciting nuclear infrastructure projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role within a high-profile programme while developing your career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Reporting to the Training Manager, you will provide administrative and coordination support for all training and competency activities across the project. You will play a key role in ensuring workforce compliance, maintaining accurate training records, and supporting the safe and effective delivery of project operations.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to support the mobilisation and delivery of a major infrastructure project, collaborating closely with operational teams while developing your knowledge and experience in training, competency, and compliance management.
Role Responsibilities- Coordinate training bookings and schedules across the project.
- Process training requests in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain accurate training and competency records, ensuring all relevant systems are updated.
- Monitor mandatory training expiry dates and support compliance reporting activities.
- Consult with project teams, training providers, and individuals to coordinate training requirements.
- Support onboarding activities by coordinating training and competency documentation.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Training Manager.
- Ensure training records are up to date, accurate and audit ready.
- Assist with the production of training and compliance reports.
- Support the continuous improvement of training and competency processes.
- Experience in an administrative or coordination role.
- Experience maintaining data and electronic records with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent diligence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to learn new systems and maintain electronic records effectively.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting training, learning and development, or competency management activities.
- Experience using HR, Learning Management Systems (LMS), or training administration systems.
- Experience producing reports and analysing training and compliance data.
- Intermediate Excel skills, including data manipulation and reporting.
- Experience working within a large project, construction, engineering, infrastructure, or regulated environment.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics.
