Motor Vehicle Technician​/MOT Tester

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician/ Mot tester to join our dynamic team. Duties

* Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other vehicle components

* Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out assembly, disassembly, and repair tasks

* Diagnose issues through the use of diagnostic equipment and troubleshoot mechanical problems effectively

* Mot Testing

* Assist with heavy lifting of vehicle parts or equipment safely and efficiently

* Maintain detailed records of all work performed for each vehicle

* Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications

* Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly

Experience

* Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar automotive repair role

* Strong understanding of schematics, mechanical systems, and electrical components within vehicles

* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic machinery

* Knowledge of maintenance procedures for various vehicle types

* Ability to perform equipment repair with precision and attention to detail

* Experience in assembly work is desirable but not essential

* Prior exposure to customer service environments is advantageous

* Physical capability for heavy lifting and working in physically demanding conditions

Pay: £37,000.00-£53,000.00 per year
