We are currently looking for a Site Engineer to join our growing team, supporting the delivery of one of the UK's most exciting nuclear infrastructure programmes. Working on a major infrastructure project, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of construction activities on site. Reporting to the Senior Site Engineer, you will provide engineering support at the point of work, helping to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. RoleResponsibilities
- Support the delivery of construction activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.
- Assist site teams in the successful execution of project works.
- Provide engineering support and technical guidance at the point of delivery.
- Conduct setting out and survey activities using GPS and surveying equipment.
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards across site operations.
- Locate and identify buried services to support safe excavation and construction activities.
- Supervise subcontractors and monitor compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Review and understand Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
- Promote a positive health, safety, and environmental culture on site.
- Assist with temporary works activities and ensure compliance with relevant procedures.
- Accurately record and report site progress, issues, and engineering information.
- Experience working within civil engineering, infrastructure, or construction projects.
- Knowledge of setting out techniques and engineering surveying practices.
- Working knowledge of GPS equipment and setting out instruments.
- Experience of quality assurance and quality control processes.
- Knowledge of buried services location and safe excavation practices.
- Ability to interpret and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental requirements within a construction environment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft 365 applications.
- SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
- CAT and Genny (buried services location) training.
- Ability to obtain Security Clearance (SC).
- Working towards membership of a professional institution such as ICE.
- NRSWA qualification.
- Temporary Works knowledge or Temporary Works Supervisor experience.
- Relevant vocational qualifications in engineering, construction, or a related discipline.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Strong organisational and planning abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
