Retail Supervisor

We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Helensburgh, Argyll and Bute. We offer a permanent 39 hour full‑time position working a variety of shifts, 5 days from 7 each week. Full time positions require flexibility in availability throughout the week, including weekends.

We offer an hourly pay rate of £13.61 and a minimum of 39 hours per week, guaranteeing at least £530 per week. Overtime may be available.

• Important part of management team, support manager in leading team to run efficient shop and great service to customers.
• Take full responsibility for running shop in manager’s absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries worked quickly and shop routines completed to maintain safe, clean and tidy shop.
• Open and close shop, handle cash, place orders and develop team of retail assistants.
• Take responsibility for control of operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.

• Some experience as supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or similar industries helpful but we would love to hear from those taking first steps.
