Position:
System Engineer - Battery Energy Storage Systems
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure product compliance with regulatory standards across multiple countries.
Manage supplier relationships and oversee change management processes.
Define and implement test programs to validate system performance and safety.
Apply DFx principles (Design for Quality, Cost, and Safety) throughout the development cycle.
Maintain system documentation and manage certification processes for battery systems.
Collaborate with suppliers and customers to ensure system functionality aligns with client expectations.
Design, develop, test, and qualify battery storage systems, including Battery Monitoring and Battery Management Systems.
Select and integrate components, create electrical schematics, and support system installation.
Approve systems for Factory Acceptance Testing and ensure all certifications are met.
Utilize electrical design software (preferably AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN) to support system development.
What We're Looking For:
A bachelor's or master's degree in electronics or a related field, with 3-5 years of experience in system engineering or system integration.
Strong background in electronics, including inverter design, battery management systems, and high-voltage systems.
Experience with FMEA, safety systems, unit testing, and test methodologies.
Proficiency in IoT technologies and communication protocols such as CAN, RS485, Modbus, and IP networking.
Familiarity with European electrical installation standards (e.g., NEN
1010 or IEC 60364).
Technical knowledge of industry-specific products and processes.
