Your role in our mission
As an NPI Engineer, you will work within a multidisciplinary project team consisting of engineers, quality engineers, and buyers. Together, you will translate customer requirements into feasible and manufacturable Nedschroef products and production solutions. Your activities will mainly start during the RFQ phase, where technical feasibility, manufacturability, and production processes are assessed.
There are two positions available and, depending on your background and expertise, the focus of the role may be on:
Machining and CNC manufacturing
Automation and product handling
Other responsibilities in this role are
Translate customer drawings and standards into internal production drawings and guidelines
Developing and optimizing production processes and manufacturing methods
Supporting RFQ trajectories by assessing technical feasibility and manufacturability
Optimizing machining, automation, and/or product handling processes
Ensuring quality by using tools such as FMEA, Control Plans, and MSA
Developing and transferring stable production processes to the production environment
Collaborating closely with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Purchasing throughout the project
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical field
Approximately 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience within a technical manufacturing
Experience with machining, CNC operations, and/or automation and product handling
Experience in working with measuring systems/equipment is considered a plus
A hands‑on mentality combined with a proactive and pragmatic working style
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
Proficiency in both Dutch and English is required, German is a strong advantage
Experience with CAD software such as Solid Works or comparable design software is preferred, and/or the willingness to learn CAD
