What will you do as Test Engineer End-of-Line (FAT)
As Test Engineer (FAT) you work together with energetic, multidisciplinary colleagues. We are scaling our production and every battery system we build is sold and needs a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) before it’s delivered to our customers. The challenge lies in testing via procedures quickly and accurately. For our 10 ft. Battery Containers, we standardize as much as possible and you will play an important role in testing and giving feedback to our engineering team.
The tests are partly hardware related but mainly software related. Our systems can be used in countless situations and this counts for a lot of variety what needs to be tested, therefore standardization becomes even more important. A brief summary of your work can be found here:
- Carrying out tests that are created in consultation with our engineering department
- Building test setups for testing battery systems and associated components
- Reporting failed tests and errors in the field to improve product development and testing
- Analyzing and documenting test results to relevant colleagues
We are looking for people with energy, who love what they do and want to add value to the challenge we face in the field of the energy transition. You learn quickly and enjoy diving into the systems we make. Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following profile:
- At least a technical education on vocational level (MBO 3) with preferably work experience in testing mechatronic systems
- Practical experience with electrical test equipment (e.g. multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.), instrumentation and measuring techniques
- The ability to understand technical documents such as datasheets, diagrams, drawings and specifications
- A curious mindset and willingness to learn
- You have experience or interest in working with high‑voltage systems
- You have good communication skills in both English and Dutch
- You bring the necessary dose of humor
- Based on your experience, a suitable salary and on top of that we offer a 13th month
- We follow the collective labor agreement for “Technisch Installatiebedrijf”
- You receive 25 vacation days and 13 ADV days annually (based on a 40‑hour working week). Enough time to recharge your personal battery!
