Schunk Xycarb Technology has specialized in consulting, developing and manufacturing integrated packages for quartz, graphite and advanced engineering ceramics for 40 years. Schunk Xycarb Technology, for example, makes extremely precise ceramic-coated graphite wafer carriers that are used in the production of both computer chips and LEDs.
What is your assignment As an Operational Buyer at Schunk Xycarb Technology, you – together with your colleagues - are responsible for:
Supporting the department.
Supporting supplier selection, evaluation, and maintaining contact with suppliers.
Resolving supplier issues (quality, returns, claims, etc.).
Monitoring delivery times and informing internal stakeholders.
Requesting and evaluating quotes.
Administrative Administratively processing purchase orders and invoices / Placing, managing, and processing purchase orders.
Running MRP runs.
Processing order confirmations.
Complaints and challenges regarding delivery times and order confirmations.
Managing and maintaining master data: article data, vendor data, and stock parameters in SAP.
Communicative Manage, respond to, and follow up on incoming emails in the Procurement department's central purchasing mailbox.
Communicate progress on current issues with colleagues both within and outside the department.
Communicate relevant information to the manager and relevant employees within the organization.
Provide support and assistance to Purchase Requesters and advise the organization on inventory parameters.
Maintain contact with domestic and international suppliers regarding quality and logistics questions, problems, and costs.
Responsibilities Request prices, place purchase orders, follow up on orders, and resolve issues with suppliers regarding shortages and quality defects. Responsibility.
Place orders and monitor delivery times and chase timely delivery.
Resolving problems with suppliers, for example regarding shortages or damage.
What are the required skills? For this position it is important that you are result-oriented and stress-resistant. That you can anticipate and have insight into your environment and the process. To be considered for this position it is important that you:
MBO+ level.
Administrative and purchasing processes.
Reporting tools and ERP system (SAP).
Fluency in Dutch in a must
Written and spoken English. [German – a plus]
