Job Summary

As an Ambulant Gezinscoach / Jeugdzorgwerker you will support families and youth with complex challenges, providing guidance, safety, and stability directly in clients’ homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stabiliseren & Veiligheid: Bring calm to households where safety and development are under strain.
  • Psychische steun & Vertrouwen: Support stress regulation, trauma processing, and enhance self‑confidence and social relationships.
  • Hulp bij opvoeding: Stand beside parents and guide them in the role of educator, strengthening family bonds.
  • Financiële rust: Assist with practical issues – administration, debt, or guardianship – to remove financial worries.
  • Bouwen aan een netwerk: Engage informal networks and collaborate closely with partners such as youth protection, schools, and mental health services.
  • Mobilize within the “10 voor Toekomst” and “For Youth” initiatives, providing intensive home‑based and socio‑emotional support.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • You have a relevant HBO degree (Social Work, SPH, MWD, Pedagogiek, or Nursing) preferably specializing in youth.
  • You hold or are eligible for SKJ registration.
  • You are competent, self‑directed, and a team player.
  • You own a car and driver’s licence due to frequent travel.
  • You identify as Christian and are able to articulate what this means in your work.
