Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role based in Helston for a Business Development Manager. The role entails identifying and cultivating business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and promoting the services and offerings of the National Drone Hub to prospective and existing clients. You will develop strategies to drive revenue growth, collaborate with internal teams, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
Key responsibilities include delivering proposals, attending industry events, and staying informed about trends in drone technology and related markets.
- Experience in Business Development and Client Relationship Management
- Strategic Planning, Market Analysis, and Negotiation skills
- Strong Communication, Presentation, and Networking abilities
- Analytical thinking with a results-oriented mindset
- Knowledge of the drone technology industry or associated fields is highly advantageous
- Proficiency in CRM tools and business software
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM, Business, or a related field
- Willingness to work on-site in Helston and travel as required
