Job Overview

JR PAT Testing is an expanding PAT and Compliance Company looking for self‑employed PAT Engineers in Helston with flexible hours.

• Perform portable appliance testing at various sites, including hospitals and retail outlets.
• Use testing instruments to check safety of electrical items, prepare reports, and give results to users.
• Maintain all equipment, record data accurately and efficiently.
• Travel to client sites within Helston or nearer (national travel allowed).

• City & Guilds 2377 PAT qualification or equivalent.
• Self‑employed status with own insurance; equipment calibrated annually.
• Reliable, honest, with a ‘can‑do’ attitude.
• Good organisational skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

• Pay on a pro‑rate basis per appliance tested.
• Flexible part‑time or full‑time work.
• Supplied with branded clothing, labels, technical support and an engineer handbook.
