Job Description & How to Apply Below
Wynnstay Group is seeking an entrepreneurial, commercially driven Store Manager to lead one of our established stores and take ownership of its continued growth and success.
This is much more than a traditional retail management role. You will have the opportunity to run the store as a local business: setting the pace, driving sales performance, identifying new commercial opportunities and building a strong presence within the surrounding agricultural community. You'll combine hands-on operational leadership with a proactive, entrepreneurial approach to growing the customer base and increasing the store's market share.
Working closely with farmers, rural businesses and local customers, you'll develop a strong understanding of their needs and ensure the store provides trusted advice, relevant products and an exceptional level of service. You'll maintain existing relationships while actively seeking new business, spotting opportunities and inspiring your team to confidently promote the full range of Wynnstay products and services.
As Store Manager, you'll have overall responsibility for sales targets, financial and operational performance, stock management, compliance and team development. You'll create a high-performing, commercially focused culture in which colleagues feel motivated, customers feel valued and new ideas are encouraged.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced agricultural or retail leader who enjoys being visible in the local community, thrives on achieving targets and wants the freedom to make a genuine impact. You'll have the autonomy to bring your ideas to life, backed by the resources, expertise and support of an established national agricultural business during an exciting period of growth and transformation.

Conducting colleague reviews to assess training needs and build career development paths
Managing and resolving customer or staff issues with professionalism and confidence
Taking responsibility for Health & Safety on site
