We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Treatment Room Nurse to join our friendly primary care team for 37.5hpw. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients within our busy GP practice and play an important role in delivering treatment room services.

This is an excellent opportunity for a registered nurse with experience in primary care or community nursing who is passionate about patient‑centred care and health promotion.

We are looking for enthusiastic, proactive, team players with a strong patient care focus who will share our ethos and commitment to high quality care. Informal visits are welcomed.

• Wound care and dressing management
• Immunisations and vaccinations
• Cervical screening
• Venepuncture and specimen collection
• Blood pressure monitoring and ECGs
• Health promotion and lifestyle advice
• Chronic disease monitoring and support
• Infection prevention and control activities
• Maintaining accurate patient records using clinical systems (S1)
• Working collaboratively with GPs, healthcare assistants, and the wider multidisciplinary team

• Registered Nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
• Qualified in Child & Adult Immunisation
• Cervical screening
• Chronic disease management
• Wound care management
• Adult and Child Immunisation and vaccination training
• Experience using GP clinical systems

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Competent in treatment room procedures
• Knowledge of clinical governance and safeguarding principles
• Infection prevention and control activities
• Previous experience in general practice or primary care
• Cervical cytology qualification
