Semi-Senior Accountant - Growing Accountancy Practice

£32,000 to £38,500 DOE

Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be partnering with a highly reputable and people-focused accountancy firm based in Hemel Hempstead, who are now seeking an experienced Accountant to join their collaborative and well-established team.

• Manage your own portfolio of clients across a broad range of sectors
• Prepare year-end accounts, personal tax returns, and VAT returns
• Support clients using modern cloud software, primarily Engager, Xero and Tax Calc
• Optional involvement in CIS returns, P11
  
  Ds and bookkeeping
• Deliver a high-quality, professional service and build strong client relationships
• Work closely with the wider team to contribute to a positive, collaborative culture

no audit work; payroll handled separately.)

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA preferred)
• Experience managing your own client portfolio in practice
• Strong technical grounding across accounts and tax
• Confident using cloud-based accounting tools, Xero preferred
• A team-player with excellent communication skills
• Organised, proactive, and committed to delivering great client service

• Hybrid working after initial training
• 8:30am - 4:30pm working pattern to support work-life balance
