Personal Tax Associate

Personal Tax Associate Woking | £35,000 - £45,000 If you're currently preparing Self Assessment tax returns, dealing directly with HMRC and supporting private clients, landlords and owner-managed businesses, we'd love to hear from you. We're working with a highly respected Surrey accountancy practice looking to add a Personal Tax Associate to their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and successful practice where you'll gain exposure to a broad range of personal tax matters whilst working closely with experienced tax professionals.

What you'll be doing:
• Preparing and reviewing Self Assessment tax returns.
• Working with private clients, directors, sole traders and owner-managed businesses.
• Liaising directly with HMRC.
• Assisting with Capital Gains Tax matters.
• Supporting clients with property income and landlord tax issues.
• Managing your own portfolio of clients.
• Identifying tax planning opportunities and assisting with advisory work.
• Building long-term client relationships. We're particularly interested in speaking with people who have experience of:
• Self Assessment tax returns.
• Personal tax compliance.
• HMRC correspondence.
• Capital Gains Tax.
• Property income.
• Partnership tax returns.
• Working within a UK accountancy practice. This role could be ideal for someone currently working as a:
• Tax Assistant.
• Tax Associate.
• Personal Tax Assistant.
• Personal Tax Associate.
• Private Client Tax Assistant.
• Private Client Tax Associate.
• Tax Semi Senior. This role is unlikely to be suitable if your experience is primarily within:
• Audit.
• Management Accounting.
• Industry Finance.
• Corporate Tax.
