Make a Positive Impact at Hightown

At Hightown, we are a housing charity that builds homes and supports people. We are looking for a motivated and organised Healthy Homes Coordinator to join our busy Healthy Homes Team. In this role, you will help ensure residents live in safe, comfortable homes while working in an environment that values compassion, collaboration and respect.

If you are someone who enjoys taking ownership of tasks and empowering others through excellent service, this could be the ideal role for you.

About the Role

You will be part of our Property Services Team, which manages more than 9,000 homes across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire. You will contribute to our inclusive and resident-focused service by coordinating work relating to damp and mould, supporting colleagues, and maintaining clear communication with residents and contractors.

You will:

Provide administrative support to the Property Services Team
Liaise with residents and contractors, ensuring respectful and timely communication
Book works and temporary accommodation when required
Update databases and maintain accurate property records
Monitor work orders to ensure repairs are completed efficiently
Help create a smooth, collaborative workflow so residents experience minimal disruption

This is a varied, fast-paced position in which compassion and attention to detail make a real difference to the people we support.

Who We Are Looking For

We would welcome your application if you:

Have experience in an office environment (maintenance or property experience is helpful)
Are confident with record-keeping and data accuracy
Have knowledge of the housing sector
Are comfortable using Microsoft Excel and learning new systems
Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
Work well under pressure and remain focused on inclusive, resident-centred service
Bring a positive, collaborative approach to supporting colleagues and residents

A “can-do” attitude is essential, as you will often be the first point of contact for residents who need reassurance and support.

What You Will Receive

In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive a range of benefits designed to empower you in your role and support your wellbeing:

33 days annual leave, including bank holidays (rising with service)
£27,663 per annum
Annual performance-based bonus
Monthly attendance bonus
Regular salary and cost-of-living reviews
Life assurance (three times your annual salary)
Blue Light Card - Access to discounts for local and national retailers
Ongoing training and development, helping you grow and progress
On-site gym access
