Overview
Streetworks Planner –
Location:
Apsley, Hemel Hempstead. Type:
Permanent, Full-time, Monday – Friday, 45 hours per week. Role set up:
Onsite for training, hybrid after (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH). Salary:
Competitive salary up to around £35k depending on experience.
Project Partners are seeking an experienced Planner, Co-Ordinator or Administrator to join the Streetworks team at our client’s head office in Hemel Hempstead. The role focuses on ensuring works are delivered to the contract program, meeting contractual SLAs, and providing efficient planning to utilise the full workforce while delivering first-class service to clients and customers.
Responsibilities- Liaise with teams, supervisors and operatives to provide accurate information and job details to enable work to be carried out.
- Monitor backlogs AA/IP to ensure contractual priorities are met.
- Ensure all jobs are planned and coordinated so they run as efficiently as possible.
- Create NRSWA permits to Local Authorities and ensure notices meet legislative requirements.
- Apply/submit and track requests for Bus/Parking suspensions.
- Submit and track requests for switch out, etc.
- Monitor and respond to permit updates (PMR’s/S74’s/AIV’s/Inspection).
- Deal with all requests from the client promptly, efficiently and courteously and keep clients and customers updated with progress prior to, during and after works.
- Monitor the progress of all gangs on the designated contract and update related company and client systems.
- Resolve planning queries or issues.
- Provide holiday or additional cover for planning colleagues when necessary.
- Carry out any other duties appropriate for the role.
- Share information with the wider team to support work planning and ensure licences and permits are obtained and adhered to as required to deliver the project.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 (Teams, Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Understanding of processes for obtaining Gas/Electric/Line Search/BT Drawings.
- Understanding of street works and traffic management requirements.
- Street Manager/Aurora system experience.
- Previous planning experience.
- Environmental Awareness.
- Customer Service Awareness.
- Previous utilities experience is desirable but not essential.
- Keen and tenacious.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good time management skills and able to work to deadlines.
- Can-do attitude.
